what should i wear to a judo class?

Judo Gi (Uniform): If you already have a Judo gi, it's best to wear it. A Judo gi typically consists of a jacket (uwagi) and pants (zubon). The gi should be made of sturdy cotton to withstand the rigors of training. If you don't have a gi yet, it's usually acceptable to wear a clean, well-fitting sweatshirt and sweatpants for your first class. Clean and Comfortable Clothing: Ensure that whatever you wear is clean and in good condition. Avoid clothing with zippers, buttons, or anything that might cause discomfort to you or your training partners during throws or groundwork. ​Bare Feet: Judo is practiced barefoot, so you won't need special footwear. Make sure your feet are clean. Remove Jewelry: Take off any jewelry, including rings, necklaces, and earrings, to prevent injury to yourself and others.
